Artificial Intelligence and a Return to Human Interaction

A recent Atlantic Daily newsletter suggests that one unintended consequence of the AI revolution might be a return to old-fashioned get-togethers. How's that, in our new era of spatial computing goggles? Well, when you can't trust what you see online due to AI hallucination, deepfakes and rampant misinformation—you have no choice but to go back to the basics.

We are not ready to accept such a dismal future for AI and and the internet, but we do feel the "urge to imagine a world beyond the four corners of a handheld screen," as the Atlantic puts it. There's simply no substitute for getting together in-person, whether it's a focus group, strategy meeting or catch-up over coffee or cocktails.
